Job summary

Stäubli is seeking a Senior Corporate Operations Controller to act as the finance partner to the COO and Operations Leadership Team, guiding budgeting, cost control, and performance reporting across manufacturing, procurement, and supply chain. Travel 20–30% to production sites in Europe and beyond.

You will lead standard costing, inventory control, and KPI reporting, driving improvements in working capital and overall business performance within a matrix organization.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Operations Finance, Supply Chain Finance, Manufacturing Finance, or Controlling in a global industrial/manufacturing setting.
• Proven ability to lead budgeting, variance analysis, inventory management, and working capital optimization.
• Strong analytical, modelling, and cross-functional communication skills across geographies.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders and driving finance transformation initiatives.
• Advanced knowledge of SAP and planning/consolidation systems; English fluency required; German/French a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the COO and Operations Leadership Team, providing financial insights, performance analysis, business cases, and decision support for manufacturing, procurement, supply chain, network design, and footprint optimization initiatives.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, cost controlling, and performance reporting for Corporate Operations, while monitoring operational and financial KPIs and driving improvement actions.
• Own and enhance global standard costing, inventory control, plant performance measurement, and reporting frameworks.
• Drive transparency and performance improvement across procurement, manufacturing, logistics, quality, inventory, productivity, forecast accuracy, working capital, and supply chain operations.
• Act as the finance lead for operational transformation projects, defining KPIs and reporting requirements across SAP, planning, consolidation, and BI systems.
• Strengthen the Group Controlling community through training, best-practice sharing, and finance transformation projects.
