Zusammenfassung

Lonza is seeking a Head of HR M&A to lead the people strategy across global mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other strategic transactions. You will own end-to-end HR delivery from due diligence to post-close stabilization, working with Corporate M&A, Finance, Legal, IT, and business leaders.

You will shape people strategies, lead cross-functional deal teams, and mitigate people risks while enabling value creation across the deal lifecycle, reporting to senior leadership.

Qualifikationen

• 15+ years of progressive HR experience with depth in HR M&A, ideally in a multinational context.
• Proven experience leading HR workstreams across complex acquisitions, divestitures, integrations, or restructurings.
• Broad expertise across HR M&A, Total Rewards, HR Operations, HR systems, workforce transitions.
• Strong understanding of the full M&A lifecycle, including due diligence, planning, integration, and post-close stabilization.
• Ability to lead multiple complex transactions simultaneously and manage international, cross-functional project teams.
• Exceptional business and financial acumen, translating strategy into pragmatic HR priorities and value creation.
• Strong executive presence, negotiation, and influencing skills with senior leadership and external stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management capabilities.

Aufgaben

• Own the global HR M&A portfolio, setting strategy and governance across multiple transactions.
• Lead and develop the HR M&A team for acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures.
• Act as senior HR deal lead from due diligence through close, integration, or separation.
• Provide strategic HR input on deal strategy, people risks, and workforce implications.
• Coordinate cross-functional HR workstreams including Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, HR Services, and HR systems.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to drive alignment and timely decisions across deals.
• Oversee HR integration and separation activities and transition management.
• Lead negotiations, TSAs, cost modeling, and transaction documentation.
