Job summary

Atlantic portfolio venture seeks a senior business development professional to drive government and defence space contracts. You will open doors with ministries, shape mission concepts before tenders, and close multi-year programmes.

You’ll speak German and English, navigate export controls, and translate customer needs into technical requirements for IBEX. On-site in Villeneuve, you’ll build trusted, lasting partnerships.

Qualifications

• Must have closed large government contracts with multi-stakeholder buy decisions.
• Fluent in German and English; ability to navigate defence procurement processes.
• Deep understanding of how procurement works in government and defence sectors.
• Ability to translate customer needs into formal mission concepts and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Open doors with ministries, space, and defence agencies to build enduring relationships.
• Shape mission concepts before tenders exist and map customer decision processes.
• Lead end-to-end tender cycles from MoU to signature with pilots to scale.
• Represent customer needs in engineering discussions and align with product in IBEX.
• Ensure export control compliance with ITAR, EAR, and national regimes.
