International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Geneva seeks a Senior Investigation Officer to plan, organize and manage high‑level investigations into misconduct and policy violations. You will lead fraud investigations, supervise Investigation Officers, and prepare reports for the internal justice system.

The role requires full professional fluency in French and English, advanced fraud investigation training, and willingness to travel into challenging environments.

Formación

• University degree in law, economics or social sciences and relevant credentials.
• Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or equivalent investigative credential.
• Advanced training in fraud investigation.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, organize, conduct and manage investigations into alleged misconduct and policy violations.
• Lead complex fraud investigations and act as focal point for related inquiries.
• Manage investigation activities of Investigation Officers 1 and 2 and ad hoc teams.
• Contribute to performance management and development of Investigation Officers 1 and 2.
• Act as Regional Investigation Manager in the absence of the Manager.
• Review documents; interview and take statements; analyze evidence; formulate recommendations.
• Prepare complete investigation reports and post‑investigation tasks.
• Prepare cases for submission to the internal justice system.
• Perform compliance activities and staff information sessions.
• Support Investigation Unit operations as determined by Head of Investigations.
