Trafigura Group is seeking a Senior Investigations Officer in Geneva to lead complex internal and external fraud investigations and oversee high‑profile misconduct cases. You will work with Legal, HR, IT and Finance to remediate findings and strengthen controls across the organization.

The role requires extensive experience in forensic accounting, investigative methodologies, and report writing for senior management. Travel up to 10% and leadership of a multi‑disciplinary team are expected.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 15 years of experience in corporate investigations or anti-fraud work.
• Expert knowledge of investigative methodologies and fraud detection.
• Experience leading overseas ethics/compliance fieldwork and managing teams.
• Proven track record of report writing and presenting to senior management.
• Experience across financial, operational, HR, HSE and compliance investigations.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple investigations and projects under pressure.
• Familiarity with mining, shipping and commodity trading industries.
• Strong ethics, confidentiality and risk awareness.

Aufgaben

• Lead complex investigations into suspected internal/external fraud and misconduct.
• Interview witnesses, gather statements, and document findings thoroughly.
• Draft detailed investigative reports for senior stakeholders.
• Maintain records of investigations and coordinate with ORIC/Legal.
• Prioritize resources and report to Board sub-committees and governance committees.
• Develop risk-based country/market investigation plans.
• Contribute to anti-fraud policy design and control enhancements.
• Utilize data analytics and forensic tools to detect anomalies.
• Collaborate with Legal, HR, IT, Finance to implement corrective actions.
