Job summary

Bucherer Group is seeking an experienced finance professional to support group-wide FP&A, planning and reporting for a temporary period from January to August 2027 in Lucerne, Switzerland. The role focuses on delivering insights, optimizing budgeting and capital expenditure analyses, and partnering with business leads to drive informed decisions.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in finance/controlling with strong Excel and Power BI skills, plus English and German fluency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Controlling, Accounting, Finance or a comparable qualification in financial management.
• Proven experience in FP&A, Controlling, Finance Business Partnering or Corporate Finance.
• Experience within retail, luxury retail or consumer goods is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, marketing controlling and investment analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills and hands-on experience with Power BI, Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar reporting solutions.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly closing activities, management reporting and performance analysis across the Group.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning processes.
• Partner with business leaders to deliver financial insights and recommendations that support informed decision-making.
• Lead Marketing Controlling activities, including budget planning, spend monitoring, ROI analysis and campaign performance evaluation.
• Oversee Investment Controlling through business case assessments, capital expenditure analyses and post-investment reviews.
• Drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives within reporting and planning processes while supporting strategic projects and ad hoc analyses.
