Posalux SA is seeking a Service & Applications Engineer to ensure performance of advanced micro-machining systems. You will install, commission, and service equipment at customer sites and support production launches with application specialists.

The role requires 5+ years in machine tools, strong diagnostics in CNC/automation, and frequent international travel (60–80%). Fluency in French and English is essential; home-office options and 5 weeks vacation are available.

Formación

• Engineering or technician qualification in Mechatronics, Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent field.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in installation, commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting of machine tools and special-purpose machinery.
• Strong knowledge of mechanics, electrical engineering, automation and industrial system diagnostics.
• Knowledge of CNC systems, industrial networks and Windows environments.
• Knowledge of Siemens or Beckhoff PLCs for diagnostics and troubleshooting; programming skills are asset.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical/pneumatic schematics.
• Professional proficiency in French and English; additional language is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently with a structured, analytical and organized approach.
• Strong customer focus and ability to work effectively in a demanding international environment.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in FATs, then install and commission machines at customer sites through to SAT completion.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues remotely or directly on site.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance operations.
• Carry out mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and automation-related troubleshooting.
• Provide first-level support for the production launch of new parts, in collaboration with application specialists.
• Define spare parts requirements and the operations needed to restore machines to full functionality.
• Train customers and agents in the operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Ensure technical follow-up of service interventions and coordinate activities with internal teams, including development, production and applications.
• Document diagnostics, work performed, parts used and any remaining open issues within service management tools.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of machines, processes and customer support quality.
• Travel internationally on a frequent basis, representing approximately 60-80% of the role, primarily within Europe and Asia
