Triumph Group in Wallisellen, Switzerland, seeks a Global Head of Customs (f/m/d) for a 100% role with a hybrid work model requiring four mandatory days at the Wallisellen office.

You will own Triumph's international customs governance, lead a small central customs team, and optimize automated clearance processes using SAP GTS across multiple jurisdictions. Strong leadership and 10+ years in customs are essential.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years of relevant experience in customs and trade compliance in a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of EU and Swiss customs law, import/export procedures, customs warehouses/bonded warehouses, transit, classification, valuation, origin and preferential origin/FTA rules.
• Experience with SAP GTS or comparable customs/ERP systems, automated clearance processes, customs broker interfaces and master-data governance is strongly preferred.
• English is a must; German and French are nice to have.

Aufgaben

• Own and continuously improve Triumph's global customs governance framework, policies, procedures and controls.
• Develop Customs as a business service function, supporting commercial and supply-chain decisions with practical customs input.
• Manage and optimize automated customs clearance processes in SAP GTS, including broker interfaces and master-data governance.
• Provide customs leadership for the French and Austrian bonded warehouse flows, including stock ownership and export/import processes.
• Monitor changes in customs, trade, origin, export-control/sanctions and communicate impact to Finance, Tax, Operations, IT and local management.
• Work with Operations and warehouse teams in France, Austria and Asia, as well as Switzerland/HQ, to implement changes in IT systems and processes.
• Lead as customs workstream lead in Group projects (ERP/SAP GTS changes, carve-outs, cross-border flows).
• Coordinate external customs audits and broker relationships; define service expectations and KPIs.
• Develop end-to-end customs processes with IT, Operations, Tax and Finance, using SAP GTS and FTAs.
• Oversee classification, valuation, origin and preferential origin/FTA management.
