Job summary

Carrier is seeking a Sr. Manager – Copper & Aluminum Raw Procurement Leader to develop and execute a global category strategy that optimizes cost, availability, agility, and innovation.

You will lead a team in supplier relationship management, costed BOM development, and cross-functional collaboration to enable growth and sustainability goals. The role requires 8+ years in strategic sourcing, a strong track record in cost optimization, and proficiency with SAP/Ariba.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain with global category management experience.
• Proven track record in cost optimization, supplier negotiations, and risk management.
• Experience in industrial, HVAC, or manufacturing sectors preferred.
• Strong understanding of procurement systems (SAP, Ariba) and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive global category strategy aligned with Carrier’s supply chain, product, and manufacturing goals.
• Lead supplier relationship management and performance reporting, focusing on cost, quality, delivery, and ESG compliance.
• Collaborate across engineering, quality, product management, and operations to align sourcing strategies with business objectives.
• Drive risk mitigation and supply continuity by addressing geopolitical exposure and capacity constraints.
• Champion sustainability and ESG compliance through responsible sourcing and supplier development initiatives.
