Zusammenfassung

UNITAR in Geneva offers a 4–6 month Communications Traineeship for students and recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in international affairs, communications, marketing, public relations and digital media.

The program provides a monthly stipend of 900 CHF and the chance to work on real-world projects in a multicultural setting, with opportunities for professional development and exposure to the UN system.

Qualifikationen

• Enrolled in or recently graduated (within 2 years) from a university program in Communications, Marketing, PR, Graphic Design, Video Editing, International Relations, or related fields.
• Strong interest in the UN and UNITAR’s work.
• Excellent writing, analytical, and research skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and in teams in a fast-paced setting.
• High sense of responsibility, organization, and attention to detail.
• Experience with design/editing tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Trello, Notion, Hootsuite is a plus.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of other UN languages, especially French, is an asset.

• Assist in developing and implementing communications projects for UNITAR.
• Support marketing, PR and digital media activities.
• Contribute to research and analysis to inform campaigns and outreach.
