Takeda is seeking a senior leader in R&D Procurement to shape category strategies and lead a team of category managers. You will partner with senior stakeholders to drive cost optimization, innovation, quality, sustainability, and risk management across the external spend portfolio.

You will own strategic supplier relationships, governance, and performance, guiding end-to-end value delivery while aligning with enterprise objectives and regulatory standards.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years in procurement or related fields within global organizations.
• Proven ability to develop and execute category strategies.
• Fluent English; strong stakeholder management.

• Define and lead category strategies to maximize value from external spend across cost, innovation, quality, and sustainability.
• Act as strategic partner to senior leaders, aligning priorities with organizational objectives.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration to deliver category goals and ensure supplier partnership excellence.
• Own contracting and commercial strategy across portfolio, including MSAs and downstream agreements.
• Coach and develop category managers toward high performance and operating model improvements.
• Synthesize market intelligence and data to influence strategic spend decisions.
