Job summary

Accelleron in Baden, Switzerland, is seeking a skilled Supply Chain professional to develop, plan and implement the category strategy for an assigned category. You will report to the Global Category Manager Components and join a diverse, international team.

You will drive purchasing strategies to optimize quality, cost and logistics, manage supplier evaluation and negotiations, and ensure supply security across the value chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.
• Experience in Value Chain and/or Supply Chain Management within an industrial environment.
• Advanced education or professional qualifications in Value Chain and/or Supply Chain Management are an advantage.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Fluent in English; German language skills are preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Achieve defined Supply Management targets for the assigned category related to quality, logistics, and total cost.
• Develop and implement purchasing strategies with focus on total cost, quality and logistics performance.
• Ensure environmental aspects, such as CO₂ footprint, are integrated into category strategies.
• Review supply risks and implement mitigation actions for a resilient supply chain.
• Manage supplier evaluation, qualification, development, pricing and framework agreements.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce lead times and optimize logistics.
• Represent Supply Management in product development and support ramp-up.
