Job summary

Accelleron seeks a skilled Supply Chain professional to develop, plan, and implement the category strategy for Baden, Switzerland, reporting to the Global Category Manager Components.

You will drive cost optimization, supplier management, and risk mitigation while integrating CO2 considerations across the value chain. The role requires travel up to 20% and collaboration with global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Production, Design, or related field).
• Experience in Value Chain and/or Supply Chain Management in an industrial environment.
• Advanced education or professional qualifications in Value Chain / Supply Chain Management are an advantage.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Fluent in English; German language skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Achieve defined Supply Management targets for the assigned category (quality, logistics, total cost).
• Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize total cost, quality, and logistics performance.
• Incorporate environmental aspects (CO2 footprint) into category strategies and decisions.
• Regularly review supply risks and implement mitigation actions for resilience.
• Manage supplier evaluation, qualification, development, pricing, and framework agreements.
• Drive continuous improvement of the supply chain, reduce lead times, optimize logistics.
• Represent Supply Management in product development projects and support ramp-up and stable supply.
• Lead part relocation projects until first article inspection and handover to buyer organization.
• Initiate and drive drawing modification requests with Engineering/Design.
• Support the buyer organization in managing supply escalations.
