White Recruitment is recruiting an Air Freight Export Operator for a leading international logistics group in Bern. You will manage end-to-end export air freight, including cross-trade movements and healthcare consignments, while liaising with customers and agents to ensure high service levels.

The role requires commercial freight forwarding training, several years of Air Freight Export experience, and familiarity with GDP; English proficiency is essential, with additional languages a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Completed commercial training/apprenticeship within freight forwarding.
• Several years' experience in Air Freight Export operations.
• Previous exposure to Life Sciences and Healthcare logistics.
• Understanding of Good Distribution Practice (GDP) principles.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Additional languages would be advantageous.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
• A proactive, enthusiastic and team-oriented approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A precise and process-driven approach to your work.

Aufgaben

• Managing the operational processing of Air Freight Export shipments.
• Coordinating cross-trade shipments and international movements.
• Handling specialist Life Sciences and Healthcare consignments.
• Communicating daily with customers, overseas agents, airlines and suppliers.
• Preparing quotations and negotiating rates with airlines.
• Following up with customers to ensure excellent service.
• Supporting the Export Manager across various operational activities.
• Ensuring shipments are handled accurately and in line with required processes and quality standards.
• Completing general administrative and operational duties.
• Maintaining a high level of customer service throughout the shipment lifecycle.
