The role focuses on leading a greenfield transformation, consolidating four regional warehouses into a centralized hub, and aligning processes with future-state designs within a hybrid work setup.

You will manage 3PL integrations, stakeholder relationships, and end-to-end logistics operations across planning, distribution, and fleet networks while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifikationen

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Professional Experience: 5+ years of senior-level experience in logistics, warehouse management, and transportation operations.
• Deep Warehouse Expertise: Proven, hands-on understanding of core warehouse operations, layout optimization, and workflow creation.
• Transformation Experience: Track record in greenfield logistics projects, facility centralizations, or large-scale process redesigns.
• Language Skills: Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required.
• Experience managing 3PL provider integrations and vendor contracts.
• Experience in a global matrix or multinational enterprise environment.
• Proficiency with modern ERP tools and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

We are looking for an engaged and qualified General Logistics Operations Senior Professional to strengthen a dynamic operations team for a multinational client located in Zurich. In this greenfield project role, you will lead the transformation and consolidation of regional logistics infrastructure - designing future-state processes, managing complex stakeholder relationships, and integrating external service providers.

General Information

• Start Date: 05.10.2026
• Duration: 1 year (possible extension)
• Workplace: Zurich (office location easily accessible; public transport recommended)
• Home Office: Hybrid working options (up to 50% home office possible)

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Warehouse Consolidation & Transformation: Lead a large-scale project to merge four regional factory warehouses into a single, centralized distribution hub.
• Process Design & Optimization: Define greenfield operational workflows from scratch to build a modernized, future-state warehouse setup rather than replicating legacy processes.
• 3PL Integration & Stakeholder Management: Coordinate and integrate multiple external third-party logistics (3PL) service providers into a unified, single-warehouse operational framework while navigating complex internal and external stakeholders.
• Logistics & Fleet Operations: Oversee end-to-end logistics streams across planning, distribution, receiving, materials handling, and transportation/fleet networks.
• Project Leadership & Mentorship: Independently manage complex operational projects under limited supervision while supporting and reviewing the work of mid-level and junior team members.

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional Experience: 5+ years of senior-level experience in logistics, warehouse management, and transportation operations.
• Deep Warehouse Expertise: Proven, hands‑on understanding of core warehouse operations, layout optimization, and workflow creation.
• Transformation Experience: Demonstrated track record in greenfield logistics projects, facility centralizations, or large-scale process redesigns.
• Language Skills: Professional fluency in English (written and spoken) is required. (CVs must be submitted in English).
• Experience managing 3PL provider integrations and vendor contracts.
• Experience within a global matrix or multinational enterprise environment.
• Proficiency with modern Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• German, Italian, or French language skills are a distinct advantage.
