Google Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer III, Generative AI Safety in Zurich to contribute to abuse-detection systems across GenAI platforms.

You will design, build, and evolve scalable components, analyze data, and collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions. Required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 2 years of software development with languages such as Python, C++, Java or Go, and knowledge of GenAI concepts and data structures/algorithms.

• Design, build, and maintain components of account-centric abuse detection systems on the GenAI Safety Platform.
• Analyze data to understand abuse patterns and improve detection methods; write production-quality code and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with partner teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
