Zusammenfassung

CERN - European Organization for Nuclear Research is seeking a hands-on Automation/Control Engineer to contribute to the migration of LHC Primary Gas Systems. You will work across PLC and SCADA development, configuration of gas-system control applications on Schneider M580 and Siemens S7-1500, and support in experimental areas with documentation and first-line support.

Interest in industrial control systems and hands-on work with hardware, instrumentation and field installations.
Ability to document and present technical work clearly in English.

Aufgaben

Contribute to the migration of LHC Primary Gas Systems, covering PLC and SCADA development and commissioning.
Develop and configure gas-system control applications on Schneider M580 and Siemens S7-1500 PLCs.
Contribute to specification, I/O definition and instrumentation of gas systems and to HMI, touch-panel and notification development.
Support FAT/SAT, installation and commissioning in experimental areas, with documentation and first-line operational support.
