Zusammenfassung

CERN is seeking a professional to join the Gas Systems team for the Large Hadron Collider. You will maintain and operate gas systems ensuring stable operation under challenging conditions, contribute to R&D for eco-friendly gas replacements, and participate in critical stand-by duties.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's or PhD in Physics or Engineering, alongside relevant experience in gaseous detection and system maintenance. This role will be fully onsite in Geneva, Switzerland, with a contract lasting up to 36 months.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in operating gaseous detectors.
• Experience in the design or maintenance of gas systems.
• Knowledge of working in high-radiation environments.
