Job summary

Liebherr Machines Bulle SA in Switzerland seeks a Gas Engine Specialist to drive the development of gas engines for power generation. You will collaborate with design, controls and application teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.

The role requires a degree in Mechanical/Energy Engineering and extensive gas engine experience, plus fluency in English (French advantageous). Proficiency with MS Office, MS Project, CRM and ERP systems is expected.

Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Energy Engineering or related technical field.
Extensive professional experience in gas engine development for power generation applications.
In-depth technical expertise in gas engines and current market trends.
Experience executing complex gas engine development projects from feasibility to production readiness.

Responsibilities

Develop and share technical knowledge related to gas engines across development teams.
Collaborate with engineering to define solutions in engine design, combustion, controls, and applications.
Analyze requirements and specifications for gas engine applications.
Perform technical benchmark analyses for genset technologies.
Lead root cause analyses for gas engine issues on test benches or in the field.
Capture customer requirements and translate them into technical and functional specs.
