Job summary

Julius Baer is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong FX and Precious Metals background to translate business needs into practical technology solutions within the sales and trading environment. You will bridge business needs and technology, supporting cross-functional teams across FX, PM, onboarding, pricing, and post-trade processing.

You will collaborate with FX Institutional Sales, Trading and Technology to enhance eFX platforms, ensuring regulatory compliance and strong risk

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in business analysis, requirements engineering and application support.
Profound knowledge of FX and PM products, including RM/traders support.
Strong understanding of Private Banking products and client lifecycle processes.
Experience supporting FX Institutional Sales processes.
Knowledge of OTC derivatives and multi-leg option strategies would be an advantage.
Experience using delivery tools and Agile methodologies such as Jira and Confluence to manage requirements.

Responsibilities

Work with cross-functional stakeholders to identify, analyse, and document business requirements, ensuring they align with strategic objectives.
Review existing business processes to spot gaps, inefficiencies, and risks, and recommend practical improvements.
Convert business needs into clear delivery artefacts such as BRDs, user stories, process maps, acceptance criteria, and decision logs.
Challenge requirements constructively and help stakeholders reach clear decisions on scope and outcomes.
Document end-to-end user journeys or workflows, supporting architecture, product owners and software development teams.
Maintain requirements traceability and ensure alignment from discovery to delivery.
