Qualifikationen

• A strong track record of rigorous research, evidenced by publications at major AI/ML/CV/NLP venues.
• A PhD (or equivalent research experience) in a relevant field such as computer science, engineering, applied mathematics, physics, or related disciplines.
• Strong programming skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Aufgaben

• Conduct independent research within the Machine Learning Group at Idiap, contributing to fundamental questions in ML and DL.
• Collaborate with group members and supervise/mentors where appropriate, contributing to project deliverables.
• Participate in ongoing collaborations with international partners and pursue opportunities to acquire research funding.
