Zusammenfassung

xorlab is seeking a skilled software engineer to build and own end-to-end product features for our security platform. You will focus on frontend excellence with React, while also contributing to APIs, backend services, and data layers.

Expect close collaboration with product, security, and engineering teams in a fast-moving scale-up environment. You will apply AI extensively across design, implementation, testing, and reviews, shaping our engineering practices and product experiences.

Qualifikationen

• Strong software engineer who enjoys building complete product features, not just components.
• Frontend development experience with intuitive, polished UI for complex problems.
• Experience expanding from frontend to APIs, backend services, databases, and infrastructure when needed.
• Willingness to work outside code to prototype/flow design in design tools or user flows.
• Experience using AI as an integral part of software design, writing, testing, and review.

Tasks

In this role, you will

• build and evolve the product our customers use to understand, configure, and operate their email security
• own features end-to-end from the frontend through APIs and backend services to the underlying data
• put particular care into the frontend, creating intuitive and polished user experiences for complex cybersecurity problems
• work across the full stack, with roughly equal exposure to frontend and backend development
• use AI extensively throughout the engineering process to explore, design, implement, test, debug, review, and improve software
• work with technologies including React, Java, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Nginx, and Docker
• take ownership and drive things forward from figuring out what needs to be built to designing, shipping, operating, and continuously improving it
• work closely with product, security, and engineering colleagues, making pragmatic decisions and turning evolving customer and business needs into great product experiences
• shape our product and engineering practices by bringing in your own ideas and challenging existing approaches

Requirements

You should apply if you

• are a strong software engineer who enjoys building complete product features, not just individual components
• genuinely enjoy frontend development and care about creating user interfaces that are intuitive, responsive, and polished
• are equally willing to leave the frontend and work on APIs, backend services, databases, and infrastructure when that's what a feature requires
• are comfortable stepping outside the code when needed whether that means working in design tools, prototyping an interaction, or thinking through a user flow
• are highly proficient in AI-assisted software engineering and use AI as an integral part of how you design, write, test, debug, and review software
• have solid experience with modern frontend development, ideally with React
• have experience developing backend applications; experience with Java, or a comparable language is particularly relevant
• thrive in a fast-moving environment, can make pragmatic decisions with incomplete information, and adapt quickly when priorities change
• have a strong bias toward action: you identify what needs to be done, move things forward, and don't wait for every detail to be specified
• set a high bar for yourself and your work, while knowing when a pragmatic solution today is better than a perfect solution too late
• care about software quality and understand that using AI effectively requires engineering judgment, not less of it
• communicate clearly in English, our main language at work

A big plus would be if you

• have strong experience with React and modern frontend architecture
• have strong experience with Java and its ecosystem
• have worked with technologies from our stack, such as PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Nginx, Docker, and Linux
• have a good eye for UX and enjoy turning complex workflows and data into simple, understandable interfaces
• bring experience in cybersecurity, email security, or related technical domains
• have experience building and operating B2B on-premise and SaaS products
