PrivaSphere AG, a Swiss tech company building a secure, scalable platform for encrypted email and applications, seeks a technically ambitious Full-Stack Software Engineer in Zürich. You will drive end‑to‑end development across front and back ends, focusing on reliability, security and user‑centered design.

Responsibilities include scaling the platform to global service levels, implementing new features, and advancing DevOps and security testing.

Qualifikationen

• Proficient in Java and frontend tech (JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular) with strong full‑stack capabilities.
• Experience with containerized apps using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Java frameworks and related technologies is required.

• Develop and maintain the PrivaSphere platform (front and back end).

PrivaSphere is a Swiss technology company building a secure, scalable platform for encrypted email and online applications. To support our international growth, we are looking for a technically ambitious Full-Stack Software Engineer who enjoys building reliable, secure, user-focused systems end to end.

Tasks

• Development of the PrivaSphere Technology and Platform (Front- and Backend), in particular
  - Enable and execute the scaling of the current mid-sized special service to a
  mass-calibrated, commercial global service (“Single Page”)
  - Add new features and eventually new product lines
• Maintenance of a world-class automated security testing framework for quality assurance and efficient regression testing
• Documentation of the technology for a growing development organization and
  due-diligence/audits
• Project Management
  - Assist Sales in Offering new functionality to customers
  - Support COO in all technical matters
  - Advance DevOps, continuous deployment, hardening

Requirements

• Software development skills: Java / RDBMS / JavaScript + TypeScript / Angular / CSS / Docker / Kubernetes
• Solid knowledge of Java-related frameworks and technologies (e.g. Tomcat/JSP, JDBC, JavaMail)
• Team Player, Team Leader
• Ready to settle in the Zürich area with a long-term commitment
• Capable of conceptual advancement of the technology
• Self-starter, relentless personality fitting into a growth environment, motivated for highest performance in particular in the area of security, end-user focus.

Nice to haves

• Background in IT security and cryptography (JSSE/JCE, openssl, gnupg, BouncyCastle)
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g. JUnit, Cypress)
• Understanding of messaging topics (basic experience with MTAs such as Postfix advantageous) and operating systems (basic Linux/Windows admin skills)
