Twine, a leading freelance marketplace, seeks a seasoned software engineer to own features across a TypeScript monorepo spanning React front ends, Node.js services, and ETL pipelines for advertising data.

You will design, optimize, and operate data-intensive workloads to ensure reliability and performance at scale, collaborating with peers to uphold code quality and best practices in a fast-paced AdTech environment. This is a full-time role based in Switzerland.

Formación

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Advanced proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
• Strong experience with SQL/OLAP databases and analytical query optimization.
• Hands-on expertise with ClickHouse, MongoDB, Redis, and BullMQ.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience in AdTech, PostgreSQL, edge runtimes, Go, production ML, or agentic development tooling is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain scalable features across React front ends and Node.js backend services within a TypeScript monorepo.
• Design, optimize, and operate ETL pipelines and data-heavy workloads using ClickHouse, MongoDB, Redis, and queue-based processing (BullMQ).
• Ensure reliable CI/CD, background job processing, real-time data delivery, and high-performance analytical queries.
• Uphold engineering quality through comprehensive testing (unit, integration, snapshot, screenshot, end-to-end).
• Conduct code reviews and provide architectural input to guide technical decisions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring system reliability and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions for advertising data processing.

Join a dynamic project focused on building and shipping features across a robust TypeScript monorepo, encompassing React front ends, Node.js services, and ETL pipelines for ingesting and processing advertising data. You will take ownership of complex technical challenges, driving solutions from conception through to production delivery. The role requires a strong focus on designing, optimizing, and operating data-intensive workloads, ensuring high reliability and performance at scale. You will collaborate closely with engineering peers to maintain code quality, implement best practices, and provide architectural guidance within a fast-paced AdTech environment.
