The role emphasizes leadership of a diverse team, publication-driven research, and collaboration within the Frontier AI unit to deliver impactful, safe, high-quality AI research and innovations.

Qualifikationen

• PhD in ML/CS/Statistics or equivalent practical experience.
• 15 years of experience leading a research agenda.
• Experience in deep learning and Python and neural network training.
• Experience training, evaluating, and interpreting large multimodal models and large language models.
• Publication record in machine learning conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, CVPR, ICML, ICLR, ICCV, ECCV).

Aufgaben

• Define and lead ambitious research projects, setting the technical direction and ensuring the research agenda's execution.
• Design and implement innovative model architectures that learn from diverse data modalities and datasets.
• Develop benchmarks for evaluating frontier AI systems across capabilities and tasks.
• Contribute to the team’s research strategy and influence the broader research community through publications and presentations.
