Job summary

DeepJudge AG in Zürich is seeking a Frontend Engineer who blends strong technical skills with a deep appreciation for well-crafted UI. You will build features that make our enterprise product intuitive and delightful, focusing on reducing cognitive load for legal professionals under pressure.

You will own frontend architecture decisions, collaborate with product and design, write production code daily, and contribute to the design system.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience building production applications with real end users using modern frontend frameworks (we're using React).
Solid TypeScript experience, comfortable with generics, type inference, and building type-safe components.
Strong eye for pixel-perfect UIs and smooth micro-interactions that convey meaning.
Demonstrated communication skills and ability to discuss technical and visual decisions clearly.
Enjoy collaborating with product and design to translate vision into implementation.
Bonus: Next.js in production, including SSR, caching, and route architecture.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable frontend code in production with high quality and maintainability.
Contribute to frontend architecture and ensure it scales.
Review code to uphold high standards of quality and maintainability.
Participate in agile development processes.
Collaborate with product, design, and engineers to realize product vision.
Stay up to date with industry trends and technologies.
Ensure UI decisions prioritize usability and accessibility.
Evolve the design system.
Write tests and monitor frontend performance.
