Ethon, based in Zürich, is building AI-powered industrial software to help manufacturers cut costs and improve quality. As a Forward Deployed Engineer you will connect factory data to our platform, apply state-of-the-art AI, and work closely with customers to drive adoption and value.

You will collaborate with Deployment Strategists and engineers, contribute features to the product, and help identify pain points to make Ethon's platform even better while growing your own impact in a fast-paced,

• Degree in CS/Math/Stats/ML or related field.
• 2+ years of experience solving difficult real world problems with state of the art techniques from software development and data science.
• Fluency in Python.
• German at C1 level or above.
• A consistent track record of outsized impact and going the extra mile.

WHAT IS THIS JOB ABOUT?

As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will:

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING?

Must-haves:

• A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Machine Learning, or a related field.

• 2+ years of experience solving difficult real world problems with state of the art techniques from software development and data science.

• Fluency in Python.

• German at C1 level or above.

• A consistent track record of outsized impact and going the extra mile.

• An urge to join a fast-paced, impact-driven team.

Bonus:

• Familiarity with SQL and AI/ML libraries.

• Familiarity with DevOps and deployment, in the cloud and on premises.

• Experience in customer-facing roles, especially with enterprise customers.

• Experience in manufacturing or a related industry.

• Prior startup experience.
