Google is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer in Applied AI to lead productionized conversational AI pilots, transforming initial prototypes into scalable, secure solutions. You will own end-to-end delivery across customer journeys, with emphasis on latency, tool selection, and robust security.

You will work in a fast-paced, global team, collaborating with model builders and customers to deliver high-impact AI initiatives at scale.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of software development experience in Python or C++.
• 2 years of GenAI techniques or related concepts (LLMs, CV, etc.).
• 1 year of AI/ML infrastructure experience (deployment, evaluation, optimization, data processing).
• Experience developing multilingual NLP models.

Aufgaben

• Serve as the delivery lead for conversational AI pilots, refactoring prototype code into production-ready integrations.
• Own the delivery of initial customer journeys, ensuring conversational flows are optimized for priority use-cases.
• Architect and optimize complex agentic workloads, focusing on reasoning loops, tool selection, and latency reduction with strong security and networking.
• Implement critical infrastructure: rate limiting, error handling, and regional failover; build monitoring dashboards for Go-Live stability.
• Architect security perimeters (VPC, IAM, CMEK) and optimize RAG strategies balancing latency, accuracy, and cost.
