Zusammenfassung

Microcaps is seeking a Formula & Product Developer to join the Development Team. You will create products based on PerfumePearl technology, starting with POCs, scaling to lab development, and transferring to pilot and industrial plants.

You will optimize formulations, document lab trials, and ensure quality, regulatory and commercial alignment. The role requires 3–5 years in cosmetic/pharma development, English and French language proficiency, and willingness to travel ~30% in a dynamic team.

Qualifikationen

• Completed studies in Food-, Cosmetic- or Pharma-Technology; Chemistry or Bioscience Engineering (B.Sc./M.Sc.; UAS/University).
• 3–5 years of work experience in development of food, cosmetic or pharmaceutical products.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% and to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Aufgaben

• End-to-end formula and product development from lab to industrial scale (and accompanying processing documentation).
• Plan and execute lab trials and collect data for quality, regulatory and commercial needs.
• Industrialization support with pilot plant and scale-up activities in the factory.
• Plan and support filling trials and assess formulation stability and packaging compatibility.
• Write and maintain SOPs; support safe, lean lab operations.

Formula & Product Developer, 100%

As Formula & Product Developer you are part of the Development Team thatcreates products for our customers. This means you develop products based onour existing PerfumePearl Technology. This starts with POCs (proof-of-concept)to create the first Woo, continues with lab scale development and is finalizedwith technology transfer to our pilot plants and industrial scale machines. Inall project phases, you keep an eye on potential improvements regardingformulation, process parameters and work instructions.

Your mission:

• Formula- & Product Development form lab toindustrial Scale (end-to-end),whereas your results are QOTIF(quality-on-time-in-full) in all areas of responsibility
• Execution & documentationof lab trials
• Execution & documentation of industrializationbyplanning & accompanying pilot plant & industrial scale trialsin our factory
  
• Planning & accompanying filling trials, ifnecessary
• Execution, documentation & assessment of formulastability & packaging compatibility studies
• Support trouble shooting of out-of-spec (OOS)productions in collaboration with the Quality Team & Production Team
  
• Reformulate & optimize formulations to matchoptimal quality, regulatory & commercial requirements
  
• Write & maintain SOPs within the area ofyour expertise & daily work
• Take responsibility for laboratory operationsassigned to you to support a safe, lean &efficientcollaborationof the whole laboratory team
  

This role is a good fit if you:

• Completed studies ofFood-, Cosmetic- or Pharma-Technology; Chemistry or BioscienceEngineering (B.Sc./ M.Sc.; UAS/University)
  
• Ideally3-5 years work experience in development of food, cosmetic or pharmaceuticalproducts
• Alternatively: LabTechnician in Chemistry or a related area with 5-7 years of experience incosmetic development
• Enjoyworking in a dynamic, process team-oriented & communicative environment
  
• Self-organized& precise way of working with an eagerness to learn new things
• Youknow already or quickly adapt to a risk-based reporting & find the balancebetween asking for help and executing independently your tasks
• Experiencedin analytical methods like optical microscopy, viscosity-, pH- & conductivitymeasurements; experience in chromatography like HPLC, GC, etc. is a plus
• Experiencedin safe handling of chemicals, potentially dangerous materials, and equipment
• Very good English(B2+) and French (B2+) is a must, German is a plus
  
• Partiallyflexible working hours, including a willingness to travel (30 % on average)
  
• Verygood Office 365 knowledge regarding Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Word &Excel
