Job summary

avec compétence GmbH in Switzerland is seeking a front and backend developer to build web-based services and custom software for automated measurement data and video processing in the flight test department.

You will manage code repositories, Python packages, and CI/CD pipelines, and work with IT on identity management, cloud integrations and storage.

The role begins as 3–6 months interim, then a permanent position within aerospace manufacturing.

Qualifications

Higher level of education in Information Technology or an Engineering discipline.
Experience in software or web development, Linux server and Docker.
Good spoken and written English and German language skills.
Motivation to learn on the go and integrate solutions with a high level of autonomy.
Demonstrated initiative and ability to build something from idea to execution.

Responsibilities

Develop front and backend of web-based services used within the flight test department.
Update and further develop custom software for automated measurement data and video processing.
Manage code repositories, python packages and CI/CD pipelines.
Interact with IT department on identity management, cloud integrations and storage.
Support flight test operations by capturing recorded data and videos and monitoring automatic processing.
