Job summary

PAVE Space SA in Villeneuve, VD, Switzerland, is seeking a dedicated software verification engineer to build and run repeatable tests for spacecraft flight software. The role focuses on automated verification, HIL campaigns, and robust fault-injection strategies to ensure software readiness for launch.

You will join a small avionics software team reporting to the Avionics Lead and will establish the verification framework used to demonstrate software readiness for flight.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience verifying embedded software on real hardware.
• Strong C++ skills and bare-metal debugging.
• Experience building automated tests and fault-injection frameworks.
• Ability to translate requirements into explicit tests.
• Experience with Git and CI pipelines (GitLab preferred).
• Fluent English with clear technical writing.
• Bonus: spacecraft verification or MS degree.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the software verification framework from specs to automated execution and reporting.
• Automate hardware-in-the-loop and flatsat test campaigns with the HiL lead.
• Develop fault-injection campaigns for redundant computer and links to verify detection, isolation, recovery, and degraded operation.
• Verify software integration with avionics equipment and payload interfaces.
• Establish regression testing, coverage analysis, and GitLab CI pipelines.
• Produce reproducible verification evidence for software releases and customer assurance needs.
