PAVE Space SA is seeking a propulsion test intern to support development of our reaction control system thruster. The role involves building, testing and operating hardware, with a strong ownership mindset in a fast-paced environment.

This is an on-site position at our Villeneuve (VD) office in Switzerland, requiring hands-on work with propulsion teams and coordination across disciplines to advance the next generation of Orbital Transfer Vehicle technology.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, turbomachinery and rocket propulsion.
• Ability to read, interpret P&IDs.
• Hands-on design, development and operation of test equipment.
• Experience testing propulsion systems and combustion devices.
• Proficiency with 2D/3D CAD tools (NX, Teamcenter).
• Strong collaboration in fast-paced environments.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, and operate test stands, fluidic benches, and ground support equipment for RCS thruster and component testing.
• Operate and maintain test benches during propulsion test campaigns, ensuring safety and reliability.
• Prepare and run test campaigns.
• Analyze and document testing data.
• Collaborate with propulsion, avionics, structures, software and provide hands-on support to the propulsion team.
