Job summary

CFGI Switzerland seeks an experienced accounting advisor to join our growing Swiss practice. You will advise clients on US GAAP reporting, lead a local hub for US transactions, and shape accounting for major M&A deals.

You will guide clients through IPO readiness, SEC reporting, and post-listing requirements, while overseeing conversions to US GAAP, consolidations, and closing procedures. Strong English communication and experience in advisory are essential.

Qualifications

Academic background in accounting, finance, or economics; qualified accountant credential (US CPA, ACCA or equivalent).
Six to eight years in a Big 4 or comparable advisory environment, or in a senior technical accounting or financial reporting role.
Deep, applied knowledge in US GAAP (IFRS a plus), applied to complex standards in a client-facing or technical accounting setting.
Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

Advise clients on complex accounting and financial reporting matters shaping decisions.
Lead a local hub for US transactions, collaborating with CFGI Americas for cross-border synergies.
Shape accounting for major M&A transactions including purchase accounting and pro-forma reporting.
Guide companies to US capital markets, IPO readiness and post-listing requirements (SEC reporting).
Advise on conversions to US GAAP, consolidations, and closing procedures; implement new pronouncements.
Lead engagements from scope to delivery, manage economics, risk, and stakeholders.
