The successful candidate will contribute to the design, implementation, testing, and optimization of embedded software solutions while working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams and external development partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, maintain, and optimize embedded firmware using the C programming language for battery-operated consumer devices.
  • Develop firmware solutions on modern microcontroller platforms, including ARM Cortex-M and TI MSPM-based architectures.
  • Contribute to firmware architecture definition, detailed design, implementation, integration, and maintenance activities.
  • Plan, develop, automate, and execute component-level and system-level verification tests.
  • Analyse test results and collaborate with simulation, verification, and system engineering teams to refine and improve firmware performance.
  • Support the optimization of device behaviour, reliability, and performance throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with electronics, systems, mechanical, thermal, and test engineering teams to ensure successful product development.
  • Provide firmware development expertise across core electronic technologies and product platforms.
  • Contribute to technical investigations, debugging activities, root-cause analyses, and issue resolution.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical documentation, and continuous improvement of development processes and engineering practices.
  • Work effectively with both internal stakeholders and external development partners to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

  • Experience with Real‑Time Operating Systems (RTOS) is preferred.
  • Experience with inter‑processor communications or multi‑chip communications.
  • Solid understanding of microcontroller architectures and peripheral interfaces, including UART, SPI, I²C, ADC, DMA, timers, and interrupt‑driven systems.
  • Experience with embedded development toolchains, debuggers, and version control systems.
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI/CD) environments.
  • Experience using Python and/or Bash scripting to support automation, testing, or development workflows.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills using JTAG debuggers, emulators, and simulators.
  • Hands‑on laboratory experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and electronic test equipment.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively communicating and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams.
