Job description

namuk is a Swiss, premium-quality, innovative and sustainable outdoor clothing brand for children. Our vision is to spark a love for nature. We want to inspire kids to explore the great outdoors and to equip them with innovative products that withstand the forces of nature. We aim to be the leading conscious brand for families seeking high-quality, design-driven, and functional products for young outdoor explorers.

The role

This role is the perfect next step for an ambitious finance professional (approx. 3-5 years of experience) who wants to move from an advisory or audit role into a hands-on operational position within an international scale-up. You will manage the day-to-day finance operations for our entities and work closely with our CFO, who owns the strategic layer. You will act as the operational backbone of our finance team, ensuring smooth accounting processes, delivering reliable reporting, and helping us build a future-proof infrastructure of harmonized and automated processes, data flows and workstreams as a basis to further scale internationally. There is plenty of room to grow and take on more responsibility over time.

What you will work on
  • Accounting and closings: AR/AP, bank and net sales reconciliations, payroll coordination, preparation of quarterly and annual closings and statutory audit support, inventory valuation, fixed asset accounting, and provisions.
  • Reporting and FP&A: Support monthly management reporting, quarterly and annual variance analysis, and assist the CFO with maintaining business plans and rolling forecasts.
  • Treasury: Execute regular cash planning, payment runs, and coordinate day-to-day banking topics.
  • Corporate finance: Fundraising support for debt and equity rounds, preparation of financial documentation and decks.
  • Tax and compliance: Prepare VAT filings (CH and EU), US sales tax, Swiss and US tax returns, and coordinate with external advisors.
  • Systems and processes: Continuously audit the tech stack and processes, identify and implement consolidation and automation opportunities, and build clean data flows and work streams across finance and operations.
Your profile
  • 3-5 years of experience in a hands-on finance/controlling role, audit (e.g., Big Four at Senior Associate/Consultant level), or transaction services, preferably with exposure to retail, apparel, or consumer goods.
  • Solid experience in hands-on financial planning, reporting, forecasting, and analysis; thorough understanding of Swiss statutory accounting (CO).
  • Expertise in financial modeling and metrics, as well as a good understanding of key commercial indicators and KPIs.
  • Strong affinity for digital tools and finance systems.
  • A strategic and global mindset with a hands-on, problem-solving approach to achieving company goals; strong entrepreneurial spirit with the desire to build and grow.
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Fluent English required (primary working language). German is a strong plus.
What we offer
  • Real scope from day one: you will be the engine of our daily finance function.
  • An open, dynamic and positive corporate culture with little bureaucracy and a flat hierarchy.
  • Potential for an accelerated path to a finance leadership role in a fast-growing, international scale-up.
  • A flexible working environment (home office partly possible), varied challenges and the opportunity to actively contribute to the further growth of the most innovative Swiss children's outdoor label.
  • A small but dynamic and highly motivated team with the aspiration to revolutionize the market with sustainable, durable and high-quality children's clothing.
  • Fair market salary plus participation in the upside you help create.
