Swiss Re in Zurich is looking for a Data Analyst to join the IGR & External Retrocession team. You will help produce local and group financial statements under IFRS 17/9, SST, Solvency II, collaborating with Finance, IT and Risk Management.

You will develop analytics and coding solutions (Python), validate financial results, and support quarterly closes, while driving process improvements in a fast-paced, international environment.

Formación

• 2-5 years of experience in economics, data analysis, finance or a related quantitative field.
• Strong coding knowledge and the ability to maintain, debug, and enhance complex codebases (e.g., Python).
• Data-analytics acumen with the ability to interpret complex datasets and derive actionable insights.
• Understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
• Interest in quarterly closing processes and financial reporting.
• Willingness to acquire SAP, FPSL and LFD knowledge; proficiency in MS Office.
• Fluent in English, both written and oral.

Responsabilidades

• Support the development and implementation of ad hoc retro transactions with coding solutions and analytics.
• Maintain and enhance analytical solutions and codebases (e.g., Python) to support objectives.
• Validate, analyze, and explain financial results for retrocession reporting.
• Contribute to timely and accurate quarterly production of financial statements for IGR and external retrocession.
• Support transformation projects and strengthen governance, controls, and process transparency.
