IMPACT Initiatives in Geneva, Switzerland, is seeking a Finance Control Officer to ensure financial sustainability and donor compliance across HQ, country offices, and regional hubs. The role collaborates with regional managers to provide budgeting expertise, strategic analysis, and rigorous financial reporting.

The position requires a Master in Finance/Business, 3+ years experience in finance control, strong English/French communication and proficiency with Excel, Sage or ERP systems.

Qualifikationen

• Master studies in Business/Finance/Administration or equivalent.
• At least 3 years professional experience in a similar finance position.
• Experience in finance control, budgeting, budget monitoring and financial reporting.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Organizational skills: detail-oriented, rigorous, able to work independently under pressure.
• Motivation to work in the humanitarian field.

Aufgaben

• Act as finance focal point to Regional Finance Managers and Country Representatives, providing analysis to support decision-making.
• Lead or support in preparation, review and validation of project budgets.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and donor regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate and validate financial reports before donor submissions for IMPACT-led projects.
• Manage monthly and annual accountancy closure; support audits and follow-up on audit recommendations.
• Provide day-to-day financial oversight to Regional & Country Offices and liaise with PPS and regional finance teams.
