Grade: G-6. Location: Geneva, Switzerland. Application deadline: 11 September 2026. The incumbent will be responsible for Budget duties including acting as Certifying Officer for accounts and assisting with resource requirements for budget submissions.

Within delegated authority, the Finance Budget Assistant will be responsible for the following duties:

Budget:

• May act as Certifying Officer for the accounts under his/her portfolio for both regular and extrabudgetary funding
• Provides support with respect to the review, analyses and preparation of the medium-term plan and its revisions.
• Prepares supporting documents (narrative and supporting tables) with respect to finalization of cost estimates and budget proposals, in terms of staff and non-staff requirements.
• Assists managers in the elaboration of resource requirements for budget submissions and the Programme Budget Implication (PBI) documents for Human Rights Council sessions.
