Swiss Re is seeking a motivated Financial Analyst (Working Student) to support Group FP&A & Investor Relations in Zurich. You will assist in financial planning, performance management and investor communications, gaining exposure to senior management and contributing to strategic decision-making.

The role emphasizes analytical work, preparation of materials for leadership and the Board, and collaboration with Finance, Strategy, Treasury and Business Units in an international environment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree (completed or near completion) in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
• Strong analytical mindset.
• Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
• Excellent written and spoken English; German is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, curious and eager to learn in a fast-paced, international environment.
• High level of integrity and professionalism when handling confidential information.

Aufgaben

• Support financial performance analysis and reporting across Swiss Re's businesses, identifying key trends and business drivers.
• Prepare presentations, reports and analyses for senior management, the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors.
• Play an active role in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial results materials, as well as Investor Day and other key investor events.
• Conduct research on financial markets, re/insurance industry trends, sell-side research, competitors and shareholder developments to provide senior management with external insights.
• Support the team's day-to-day operations by maintaining reporting materials, coordinating recurring processes and contributing to the continuous improvement of internal workflows through the use of analytics and AI.
