Servier (Suisse) S.A. is seeking a Field Medical Advisor Solid Tumors in Switzerland to act as a strategic scientific partner in oncology, with a focus on ocular oncology.

You will support local medical strategy, lead scientific exchanges, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align medical activities with patient needs and business goals. The role requires 3–5 years in Medical Affairs, oncology experience, and fluency in English with German or French as a strong asset.

Qualifikationen

• Advanced university degree in a health-related scientific discipline (MD, PharmD, PhD, MSc, or equivalent).
• 3–5 years of experience in Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical industry.
• 2–3 years of experience in Oncology; melanoma and/or ocular oncology is a strong asset.
• Good understanding of the Swiss healthcare environment, regulatory framework, market access context, and pharmaceutical compliance requirements.
• Experience in medical strategy development, scientific communication, medical review, evidence generation, or clinical research projects.
• Fluency in English; good German and/or French is strongly preferred.

Aufgaben

• Contribute to the development and execution of the local medical strategy across the solid tumor portfolio, focusing on melanoma and ocular oncology.
• Identify unmet medical needs, treatment trends, and evidence gaps; translate insights into medical initiatives.
• Provide accurate, balanced scientific information and support the development/review of materials.
• Support evidence-generation activities including real-world data, registries, and investigator-initiated studies.
• Build and maintain scientific partnerships with healthcare professionals and networks across Switzerland.
• Organize scientific exchanges, advisory boards, and educational initiatives; gather field insights.
• Deliver medical training and updates to internal teams; support onboarding and learning.
• Monitor emerging evidence, congress highlights, and developments in the field.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Marketing, Access, Regulatory, PV, and Global teams to align medical with business needs.
• Report progress, stakeholders, risks, and KPIs using appropriate tools.

About The Role

As a Field Medical Advisor Solid Tumors, you will serve as a strategic scientific partner in oncology, with a strong focus on ocular oncology. Reporting directly to the Medical Lead Oncology & Hematology, this field-based role is instrumental in strengthening Servier's scientific presence in Switzerland, building trusted scientific partnerships, generating actionable medical insights, and supporting future indications and therapeutic areas. You will contribute to the development and implementation of the local medical strategy while ensuring scientific excellence, compliance, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and execution of the local medical strategy across the solid tumor portfolio, with a focus on melanoma and ocular oncology.
• Identify unmet medical needs, treatment trends, and evidence gaps and translate insights into impactful medical initiatives.
• Provide accurate, balanced, and compliant scientific information and support the development and review of scientific and educational materials.
• Support evidence-generation activities, including real-world evidence projects, registries, observational studies, investigator-initiated research, scientific publications, and congress activities.
• Build and maintain scientific partnerships with healthcare professionals, scientific societies, expert networks, and multidisciplinary teams across Switzerland.
• Organize and lead scientific exchanges, advisory boards, and educational initiatives while gathering actionable field insights.
• Deliver medical training and scientific updates to internal teams and contribute to onboarding and continuous learning initiatives.
• Monitor emerging evidence, treatment trends, congress highlights, and developments within the therapeutic area.
• Lead and support patient affairs initiatives and projects within the therapeutic area, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to address patient needs and improve the patient journey and disease awareness.
• Collaborate closely with Commercial, Marketing, Market Access, Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance, and Global Medical and Patient Affairs teams to ensure alignment of medical activities with patient and business needs.
• Monitor and communicate project progress, stakeholder engagement, outcomes, risks, and opportunities through appropriate reporting tools and KPIs.

Required Qualifications And Experience

• Advanced university degree in a health-related scientific discipline (MD, PharmD, PhD, MSc, or equivalent).
• 3–5 years of experience in Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical industry.
• At least 2–3 years of experience in Oncology; experience in melanoma, and/or ocular oncology, is a strong asset.
• Good understanding of the Swiss healthcare environment, regulatory framework, market access context, and pharmaceutical compliance requirements.
• Experience in medical strategy development, scientific communication, medical review, evidence generation, or clinical research projects.
• Strong project management skills and ability to manage several activities simultaneously.
• Fluency in English; good German and/or French is strongly preferred.
• Willingness to travel frequently within Switzerland and occasionally internationally.
