Pilatus Aircraft Ltd in Switzerland seeks a Factory Test Pilot to conduct production and experimental flight tests and to train other pilots. You will act as PIC on ferry, demo and acceptance flights, and serve as a subject-matter expert for customers, updating documentation and leading project flights.

The role requires EASA licenses with IR(A), 1000+ hours PIC, and an instructor rating; German is a plus. You will join a highly professional, international team with development opportunities.

Qualifikationen

• EASA pilot licenses and medical certificate required.
• Minimum 1000 hours PIC with SPO experience.
• Instructor rating or equivalent experience desirable.

Factory Test Pilot

Your Tasks

• Conduct production and experimental flight test
• Act as an instructor pilot for Pilatus internal and external flight training
• Conduct various operational flights as pilot in command like ferry, demo and acceptance
• Act as SME to support Pilatus internal and external customers
• Support the department by publishing and updating documentations
• Act as a project pilot for customer related, engineering or other projects

With this you convince us

• Holder of EASA FCL CPL or (frozen) ATPL with IR(A) and holder of an EASA medical certificate class 1
• Minimum 1000h PIC and extensive SPO experience
• Instructor Rating FI(A), CRI(A), or TRI (SPO/MPO)
• Operating experience in Swiss, EU, NAT and oceanic airspace and EASA Test pilot rating CAT 1 or 2 are desirable
• Military Aviation Background experience desirable
• English LPL 4 (minimum) and German would be an advantage
• Highly team-minded and open, transparent as well as pro-active communication
