EY in Basel seeks an Assistant Controller to support the Regional Controller in delivering finance operations across Swiss and European clients, with a focus on financial reporting, governance, and cross‑functional collaboration.

You will assist monthly closes, IFRS/US GAAP reporting, audit prep, and regulatory submissions, coordinating with EY teams, clients, banks, and regulators. Fluency in English is required; French or German is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA certification preferred or equivalent.
• 6–9+ years of progressive accounting experience in corporate finance.

Aufgaben

• Support monthly and quarterly close activities, including journals and reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing financial information under IFRS, US GAAP, and Swiss codes.
• Collaborate with FAAS on technical accounting matters and regulatory reporting.
• Prepare audit schedules and assist with audits (internal and external).
• Support treasury processes and coordination with banks and transfer agents.
