Job summary

GSK is seeking a Clinical Development Lead (CDL) – Oncology GU to shape asset strategy and guide evidence generation across the lifecycle. You will partner with the MDT core quad, delivering strategic direction and ensuring clinical goals align with regulatory and commercialneeds.

Qualifications

• MD, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent advanced degree required (MD strongly preferred).
• Minimum 10 years’ pharmaceutical or related scientific experience with at least 7 years in oncology clinical development.
• Demonstrated governance and investment decision‑making at asset, portfolio, or enterprise level.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the clinical strategy, scientific narrative, integrated benefit–risk position, and decision framework across the asset lifecycle.
• Lead governance and investment discussions, translating evidence into strategic recommendations for portfolio prioritisation.
• Serve as the clinical authority for the asset, aligning clinical vision with development trajectory across the organisation.
• Drive integrated development plans, ensuring regulatory positioning and commercial readiness are considered together.
• Engage Health Authorities and external bodies, providing strategic oversight for scientific communications.
• Leverage AI-enabled insights and analytics to inform asset‑level decisions and strengthen governance.
• Develop, mentor, and calibrate clinical development talent within the asset programme.
