Job summary

Royal Caribbean Group in Basel, Switzerland is seeking a Senior Lead, Indirect Procurement to partner with the Miami team and drive European vendor onboarding and procurement execution. You will oversee onboarding, contracting, and supplier relationships across Europe, ensuring alignment with brand standards and regulatory requirements.

The role sits in Basel, reports to Indirect Procurement, and requires strong negotiation, cross-functional collaboration, and knowledge of European procurement

Qualifications

• Demonstrated purchasing / procurement background including vendor sourcing, screening, contracting, and onboarding.
• Proven negotiating capabilities with external suppliers and vendors.
• Experience handling end-to-end procurement across US and European business cultures.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Finance, Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate vendor onboarding and contracting for European suppliers and vendors.
• Negotiate favorable commercial terms and manage total cost of ownership.
• Coordinate contract lifecycle activities and ensure compliance with policies.
• Partner with Procurement, Legal, Operations and Product Development before final contracts.
• Act as liaison between US Miami team and Basel office, translating processes for Europe.
• Support source-to-pay activities, supplier onboarding, system setup, and invoicing issues.
