Xin Point Europe AG, based in Baar, Switzerland, seeks a Logistics & Customs Manager to oversee EU import/export logistics, cross-border shipments, and BTI management. You will coordinate with freight forwarders, brokers, and warehouses to ensure on-time delivery and cost efficiency.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Customs, Tax, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in logistics, customs, international trade, or supply chain management.
• Strong knowledge of EU customs regulations, tariff classification, HS/CN codes, and import/export procedures.
• Hands-on experience with BTI applications and management is strongly preferred.
• Experience working with customs authorities, customs brokers, and freight forwarders.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent stakeholder-management and communication skills.
• Proficiency in English; additional European languages are an advantage.
• Experience with ERP, customs management, or trade compliance systems is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Manage EU import and export logistics operations and cross-border shipments.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, warehouses, and other logistics service providers.
• Monitor shipment status, customs clearance, delivery schedules, and logistics costs.
• Identify and resolve logistics, customs clearance, and delivery issues.
• Drive logistics process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
• Oversee customs declarations, import duties, tariffs, VAT, and related documentation.
• Ensure compliance with EU customs regulations and applicable import/export requirements.
• Develop and maintain customs procedures, policies, and compliance controls.
• Maintain accurate customs records and documentation for audits and regulatory inspections.
• Monitor changes in EU customs legislation and assess their impact on business operations.
• Work closely with Finance, Tax, Legal, Procurement, Product, and Supply Chain teams on customs and trade compliance matters.
• Lead the BTI application process, including preparation, submission, and follow-up with relevant EU customs authorities.
• Prepare and maintain supporting documentation for BTI applications, including product descriptions, technical specifications, product composition, images, catalogues, and other relevant information.
• Coordinate with internal Product, Engineering, R&D, Tax, and Legal teams to ensure accurate product classification information.
• Review and validate BTI decisions and tariff classifications and ensure they are correctly implemented in customs declarations and internal systems.
• Maintain a centralized BTI database/register, including application status, BTI reference numbers, tariff classifications, validity periods, and applicable products.
• Monitor BTI validity, regulatory changes, product changes, and other circumstances that may affect continued applicability of existing BTIs.
• Assess impact of product modifications, new launches, changes in manufacturing processes, or changes in customs legislation on existing BTIs.
• Ensure relevant stakeholders and customs brokers are informed of BTI decisions and classification requirements.
• Support customs audits, classification reviews, and responses to customs authorities concerning BTI-related matters.
• Establish governance and controls to ensure consistent application of BTI decisions across EU entities and customs entry points.
