TORQ Commodities Group in Zürich, Switzerland seeks highly experienced Coffee Sales Traders specialising exclusively in Ethiopian commercial-grade green coffee to expand across UK and European markets. Qualifications

• Significant experience in international green coffee trading.
• Specialisation in Ethiopian commercial-grade coffee.
• Proven sales experience in UK/European coffee markets.
• Minimum 300 MT per month in sales; 3,600 MT annually, with 5,000 MT preferred.
• Established network of active coffee buyers and strong commercial relationships.
• Understanding of Ethiopian coffee grades, pricing, and market dynamics.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales of Ethiopian green coffee across UK and EU.
• Generate and maintain minimum sales volume of 300 MT per month, 3,600 MT annually, with 5,000 MT preferred.
• Develop and manage a portfolio of established coffee buyers including roasters, importers, distributors and industrial customers.
• Identify and convert immediate commercial opportunities through existing industry relationships.
• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms and sales contracts within approved company parameters.
• Build and maintain a sustainable sales pipeline, ensuring repeat business and long-term customer retention.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, customer demand and Ethiopian coffee pricing.
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics and operations to ensure efficient execution of confirmed sales.
• Deliver accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates and commercial performance reports.
• Achieve agreed sales volumes and profitability targets.
