Bank J. Safra Sarasin seeks a Stewardship Specialist to join its Sustainability team and advance ESG engagement and proxy voting. You will collaborate with portfolio managers and analysts, delivering robust ESG analysis to support the asset management division.

You will engage corporate issuers, develop thematic engagement topics, and contribute to voting analyses, reports and research, in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in business, economics, finance or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of practical experience in asset management and/or sustainable finance.
• Interest in non-financial risk and sustainability topics; stewardship knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills; SQL and/or Python are assets.

Aufgaben

• Conduct direct and collaborative engagements with corporate issuers on ESG issues.
• Develop and drive thematic engagement topics (e.g. minerals, human rights).
• Participate in proxy voting by identifying important meetings and analyzing votes according to policy.
• Support operational aspects of proxy voting activities.
• Maintain engagement records and contribute to RfPs, proxy voting reports for clients and annual reviews.
• Contribute to ESG and stewardship research and sectoral analysis.
