Job summary

Union Bancaire Privée in Geneva seeks a Sustainability Research & Analysis professional to support ESG investment views and client materials. You will conduct sustainability analyses across equities, bonds and funds, coordinate with the editorial committee, and monitor regulatory changes impacting wealth management.

The role requires 1–3 years in sustainable investing, fluent English and French, and a proactive, autonomous mindset within a client‑facing environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in sustainable investing, ESG, investment advisory or asset management.
• Understanding of ESG integration and sustainable investment.
• Solid investment and analytical skills.
• Experience preparing client materials, portfolio analysis, sustainability reporting and market insights.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a client-oriented mindset.
• Proactive, autonomous and able to quickly take ownership of existing responsibilities.
• University degree in Finance, Economics, Sustainability or related fields.
• Fluent in English and French, both used as working languages.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on sustainability trends and themes and write investment views.
• Conduct equity, fixed income and fund instruments sustainability analysis and write investment cases.
• Coordinate with the editorial committee to integrate sustainability insights into relevant in-house investment publications.
• Support sectorial/thematic universe monitoring and analysis to prepare quarterly due-diligence committees.
• Follow the evolution of regulatory framework in relevant jurisdictions and anticipate adaptations for WM business.
• Provide wealth management teams with tools and guidelines to support proper implementation in investment portfolios.
• Prepare quarterly portfolio sustainability reporting and portfolio analysis for client meetings.
