Hitachi Energy is seeking an Engineering Manager for the Substation Automation Systems Europe unit. You will lead engineering teams across Europe, allocate resources per S&OP, and drive performance of deliverables while fostering collaboration with global teams and customers.

You will mentor leaders, advance engineering processes, and ensure staffing and competency to meet strategic objectives. This role emphasizes safety, integrity and quality across projects.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related field.
• 15+ years of engineering experience in the energy sector, including at least 5 years in a global leadership role.
• Results-oriented leader with passion for people development, leadership, stakeholder engagement, and collaboration.
• Excellent communicator with the ability to influence beyond direct responsibilities and think strategically.
• Experience working within a multinational corporation and global engineering environment.
• Strong knowledge of energy systems, grid infrastructure, renewables, and regulatory frameworks in utility/industrial projects.

Aufgaben

• Allocate the right engineering resources to project teams per S&OP processes.
• Establish efficient interfaces between engineering teams and OPCs and increase OPC utilization.
• Manage customer relationships regarding technical requirements.
• Lead the engineering teams and own performance of deliverables across Europe.
• Serve as the Business Process Owner for engineering and testing processes.
• Mentor and develop engineering leaders and team members.
• Coordinate global engineering processes, standards, practices, and digitalization initiatives.
• Define and lead continuous improvement initiatives across engineering processes and tools.
• Monitor KPIs and budgeting with OU Manager and Controller.
• Ensure staffing and competency, with licenses and certifications as required.
• Champion Hitachi Energy values of safety, integrity, and quality.
