VAT GROUP in Haag, St. Gallen, Switzerland invites motivated students and graduates to work on the development and verification of advanced actuator control algorithms for semiconductor production equipment.

The project offers hands-on industrial experience, MATLAB & Simulink testing, and collaboration across international teams; a thesis or internship friendly program with a focus on control theory and system modelling.

Qualifikationen

• Theoretical background in mechanical, electrical engineering or similar.
• Programming skills in C.
• Programming skills in MATLAB & Simulink.
• Knowledge of linear and nonlinear control.
• Knowledge in system modelling and observation.

Aufgaben

• Implementation of developed algorithms with MATLAB & Simulink.
• Testing and verification of novel control algorithms on the test setup.
• Performance verification and comparison with the existing solution.
• Transfer developed algorithms from the development controller to an industrial solution.
